OPPO Find X2 will feature a "revolutionary" display

On Twitter, OPPO VP Brian Shen has shared new details about the upcoming OPPO Find X2 flagship smartphone.

It reads that its "screen is second" to none and it will be a "game-changer" suggesting that the phone will feature a stunning new display.

Our guess, since it is a flagship device, it will carry a high-resolution AMOLED panel with a high refresh rate. Rumors suggest that it will be a 120Hz display with a super-smooth viewing experience and it should be way better

Back in December, OPPO revealed that the upcoming Find X will sport the Snapdragon 865 flagship chip with Snapdragon X55 5G modem.

Details are still scarce for now, but it seems like OPPO will really bank on the screen of this device.

Backed by the IHS Markit Whitepaper Study, OPPO predicts screen display innovation to be the latest smartphone trend this 2020 that aims to help improve the Internet of Things experience.

Let's also expect it to top the stunning design and motorized sliding camera system of the first Find X in 2018.

The new Find X is expected to go official in Q1 of 2020.

People are spending more time on YouTube and that means ad buyers are spending more cash to reach them. It also just so happens that a growing number of viewers are paying to avoid those commercials and even to watch non-YouTube programming. That's the picture parent company Alphabet is painting with its fourth-quarter earnings report.

(yes, that Escobar) is now telling consumers that it will sell a very-much-not-a-counterfeit Galaxy Fold for the low, low price of $400.

Let us be clear from the outset: the product pictured on the company's website is very clearly a real, genuine Samsung Galaxy fold covered in a tacky gold vinyl skin with Escobar Inc's logos haphazardly slapped upon it.

Alphabet, for the first time, told us how much money YouTube makes

In 2006, Google bought fledgling video hosting site YouTube for about $1.7 billion. Since then, YouTube has become a major aspect of our online lives, probably even more so than Google anticipated. However, we’ve been in the dark on YouTube revenue numbers, as Google’s parent company Alphabet has played them close to the chest.

Today, though, Alphabet officially revealed how much money YouTube earned in the fourth quarter of 2019. Using that same report, we’re able to deduce how much money the video site made in all of last year. Spoiler alert: it’s a lot.

According to the Alphabet report, YouTube revenue topped $4.7 billion in Q4 2019, roughly from October to the end of December. Throughout the entire year, YouTube earned Alphabet around $15.1 billion, or about 10% of Google’s total revenue.

Why is Alphabet releasing these numbers now? It’s possibly a strategy to deflect some of the bad news in the report, which concludes that the fourth quarter of 2019 was the company’s worst since 2015. Unfortunately, if that was the strategy it didn’t seem to work too well, as Alphabet’s stock dropped 3% in extended trading after the report landed.

Alphabet’s plan now will likely be to focus on the two areas in which it is growing — YouTube and Google Cloud — and put less emphasis on its star product Google Search, which is lumbering along. Alphabet is still earning tons of cash and is not in any financial danger, but investors want growth, not reliability.
