Ninebot has revealed the Self-balancing Scooter Mecha Kit M.  It will be showcased on crowdfunding from November 1 to 30 on the Chinese online shopping site Taobao.

The company said that this is its second invention since the first one is the GoKart. They patterned the product after a genre of Japanese manga and anime called Mecha. It highlights mechanical innovation like robots, cyborgs, androids, and space stations.

For the Self-balancing Scooter Mecha M1 Kit, it sports a one-of-a-kind handle control design that needs a forward push to move forward. Also, it needs a backward pull to move backward. When turning, the left and right handle control each side wheel separately. It allegedly in-situ rotation and a flexible tail swing.

The kit is combined with the self-balancing scooter which makes it move. Ninebot also packed it with a water bomb launcher for burst and strafing support. The company representative said this function is suitable for people over 14 years of age.

The kit utilizes a buckle with a screw quick release design that the user can build in five minutes. It can also be connected to the Ninebot app and experience remote control gameplay.

The Ninebot Mecha Kit M is priced at CNY 1,399 (around PHP 10,000). If the self-balancing scooter, the price is 2498 (around PHP 18,000). There are no details yet regarding its availability in other countries.
