Tapatalk has been pulled from the Google Play Store

The developers say they are working to "find out what the problem is"

Tapatalk was an incredibly popular Android app in years past, as it provided an easy way to access thousands of web forums through a single application, in an era when many websites had limited mobile layouts. The app still maintains a loyal (albeit smaller) following to this day, though the Android version has now been removed by the Google Play Store.

Tapatalk seems to have disappeared from the Play Store sometime earlier this week, with users of the app starting to notice its absence on Thursday.

Google releases Chrome and Chrome OS updates to fix zero-day security exploit

Make sure your devices are up to date

Browsers are complicated pieces of software, and each release of Chrome includes fixes to address security flaws discovered both inside and outside of Google. However, there are sometimes security flaws that are frequently exploited before fixes can be widely rolled out, which has just happened with Chrome and Chrome OS.

Google recently fixed a zero-day security vulnerability in Chrome, designated CVE-2020-15999. It's a memory corruption bug in the FreeType font rendering library that is bundled with Chrome.

Google Play Music is now officially dead, dead, dead

We've known for more than a year that Google Play Music's days were numbered. Its death had even been officially announced, but it's now really real. Google has just sunset the GPM app on Android and web, providing the knock-out blow to what has been a rather short match.

Open the Android app now and you'll be greeted by a white splash screen with a Play Music logo that morphs into a YouTube Music one.

First leaks reveal Samsung Galaxy S21 design and release date

If you're eagerly waiting to get your hands on Samsung's 2021 flagship, new leaks have revealed a couple of details about it, showing the phone's potential design and release date. As this information isn't official, the actual Galaxy S21 may look different, but this leak still sheds some light as to what to expect early next year.

Based on the images, the phone's front hasn't changed much compared to its predecessor, with the future device looking very similar to the S20, including its punch-hole at the center of the screen to house the selfie camera.

Google Assistant is adding support for third-party podcast services, starting with Spotify

Going beyond Google Podcasts

Explaining which services Google Assistant supports and in which form isn't an easy feat. While it might be compatible with many music and podcast players on your phone, it only supports a limited list of approved services on speakers and other smart devices. That list was limited to music streamers only (YouTube Music, Spotify, Pandora, Deezer, iHeartRadio,...). Now, podcast services seem to be getting the same treatment.

A new Podcasts section showed up under Assistant's settings (here's how to get to them) earlier this week.
