Google now wants users to chat within Google Photos app

Google Photos

Yesterday, we wrote about how you can now upload your Facebook photos and videos to Google Photos. Today, Google announced another feature that adds even more functionality to its photo management service — the ability to chat within the Google Photos app.

When users share a photo or video within Google Photos, they can now add them to an ongoing conversation in the app where they can easily like and comment on them. Users can even save photos and videos from these conversations to their own gallery without any loss in image quality.

No, this feature is not designed to replace your existing chat apps, and all conversations are private. This just adds a subtle usability tweak to the app and encourages users to share photos with close family and friends more often.

This Google Photos chat feature is gradually rolling out over the next week, and it will work across Android, iOS, and web apps.

Vladmir Putin is extricating Russia from the world-wide-web

Tonight, if you live in Russia, it’s time to party like it’s not yet 1989. Soviet KGB agent  President Vladmir Putin is on the brink of unveiling a wall. Some might call it the most beautiful wall the world’s ever seen. It’ll be huge. It’ll cover every square-centimeter of Russian border and, unlike the ridiculous fence we’re building here in the US, his will actually be effective: it keeps ideas out. Reuters today reported that Putin will execute a plan to “replace” Wikipedia with a state-run online encyclopedia. Per the report, the government will spend about $30 million (US) on the…

To recall, David Leitch directed several blockbuster Hollywood movies such as Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, John Wick, Deadpool 2, and more.

#ShotOniPhone11Pro Snowbrawl

The video he created for Apple is dubbed as "Snowbrawl" which was shot solely on an iPhone 11 Pro. It highlighted the phone's video quality and other features such as slow-mo, zoom, wide, and more.

Apple said in the video description that they turned a snowball fight into an "epic" action movie.

Apple also shared a behind the scenes video to show that the 94-second movie was really captured by an iPhone 11 Pro.

For us, they are right. The #ShotOniPhone11Pro movie captured by David Leitch truly wowed us.

However, let us not forget that Leitch has a world-class experience, complete production crew, lighting, necessary movie equipment, and more to produce the ads.

Still, that doesn't discredit the fact that Apple has created a phone that can shoot a film as good as this.
