Pinay Indie Artist shot an entire music video using only the Huawei Mate 30 Pro

Reese Lansangan, an emerging Indie Artist has just shot her own music video using just the Huawei Mate 30 Pro, the Chinese tech giant's latest flagship smartphone.

The music video titled Wildwood highlighted the video shooting capabilities of its quad-camera system that uses a 40MP f/1.6 SuperSensing w/ OIS, 40MP f/1.8 SuperSensing Cine Camera, 8MP f/2.4 3x Optical Zoom w/ OIS, and 3D Depth Sensing Camera w/ PDAF and CAF.

Wildwood showed that it takes wide shots with crisp details, bokeh effect while taking videos, and more.

To recall, the Mate 30 Pro is one of the best phones for shooting videos. It can take videos using the main cam, ultra-wide cam, zoom, and depth. It even has advanced 7,680fps super slow-motion mode, complex time-lapse video settings, and enhanced low-light video performance.

Reese said that:

All I need is all that I will take. It was my first time shooting and co-directing a music video with JUST a phone in hand. I was ready to curb my expectations - but was SO amazed with how the #HuaweiMate30 Pro delivered. Can you see how stylistic the footages are? 

She added that they shot in ordinary, everyday places (house, back garden, amusement park) but the 3D depth sensor amplified the focus every  and she was impressed on the depth effect and fast focus of the Mate 30 Pro.

New mid-range OnePlus phone leaks, could be OnePlus 8 Lite

OnePlus first released a mid-range phone back in 2015, dubbed the OnePlus X, and it looks like the company is finally following up with its second mid-range device.

91mobiles and serial tipster OnLeaks posted renders online of a budget-focused OnePlus phone apparently called the OnePlus 8 Lite. The device, which measures in at 159.2 x 74 x 8.6mm, seems to share a lot in common with earlier Galaxy S11 renders. More specifically, it has a similar camera housing and a center-mounted punch-hole cutout.

The camera housing appears to show two rear cameras and, if it’s anything like the Galaxy S10e and iPhone 11, we can expect a normal/ultra-wide pairing.

Other alleged OnePlus 8 Lite details include a USB-C port at the bottom, volume buttons on the left, and a power/lock button and alert slider on the right. But we can’t spot a 3.5mm port though, and the lack of a visible fingerprint scanner suggests an in-display sensor (as well as an OLED screen).

There’s no word on other details though, so we’ll need to wait for more leaks or an official reveal to find out about horsepower, price-point, and other specs. Either way, a mid-range OnePlus phone will likely be well below the OnePlus 7T‘s $599 price point.
