Christmas Eve is only 20 days out, and as such, Google has teamed up with Santa's Elves just in time to spread the festive spirit around the world. Google Assistant will offer you fresh broadcasts from the North Pole Newscast every day, and the Elves have polished up the Google Santa Tracker, which lets you explore Santa's village starting today.

To catch the daily newscast from Google's chief Elf correspondent Dimplesticks, just say, "Hey Google, what's new at the North Pole?" You can also ask the Assistant to give you a Santa joke or tell it to "call Santa" to help him solve a quirky problem — he needs to think of a musical genre for his new Christmas band (though in some locations, Santa won't pick up your call).

Oppo Reno 3 series teased and leaked: Everything we know about Oppo’s new phones

The Oppo Reno 3 Pro 5G has been teased by the company for just over a week now, showing quad cameras and a thin design. But we now have a better idea of what to expect thanks to official and unofficial information.

Starting with the official source, Oppo has posted a website listing for the Reno 3 Pro 5G and the standard Reno 3 5G, showing a pair of phones with quad rear cameras. We also see a punch-hole cutout on the left side on the Pro model, and a waterdrop notch on the standard Reno 3. The former decision means the Shark Fin pop-up camera spotted on the Oppo Reno 10X Zoom Edition isn’t available unfortunately.

Furthermore, Oppo’s website states (as previously reported) that the Reno 3 Pro 5G is powered by a Snapdragon 765G processor, while the vanilla model is powered by a MediaTek 5G chipset. MediaTek only has one announced 5G processor at the moment, which is the flagship-tier Dimensity 1000 chipset. But I’d be surprised if the Dimensity 1000 is powering the vanilla Reno 3 model, as the chipset actually beats the Snapdragon 765G in terms of CPU power on paper.

Moving to unofficial sources, China’s TENAA telecommunications website has posted specs and images of a phone that’s almost certainly the Oppo Reno 3 Pro 5G. A close look at the images shows a punch-hole cutout on the left side of the device, and an identical quad rear camera housing. Check out the posted images below:

The TENAA listing also shows plenty of specifications, including a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen (with in-display fingerprint), a 3,935mAh battery, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of apparently fixed storage.

Other specs listed by the website include a 48MP+13MP+8MP+2MP quad rear camera (with 5X zoom on one camera), a 32MP selfie snapper, Android 10, and no headphone port.

We’re not quite sure when to expect the device, but between the TENAA listing and official Oppo teases, it can’t be far away at all. Are you disappointed to see a punch-hole cutout in lieu of a Shark Fin pop-up? Let us know in the comments!

Vivo V17 with punch-hole, L-shape cam, and SD675 released in India

Staying true to earlier leaks, Vivo launched a totally different version of the V17 in India. It is a V17 with L-shaped camera design, punch-hole screen, and more powerful internals.

The Vivo V17 in India uses a 6.44-inch 20:9 Super AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution and 91.38 percent of screen-to-body ratio, and an In-Display fingerprint reader. Inside, it runs with the same chip found on the V17 Pro, the Snapdragon 675 SoC with Adreno 612 GPU.

It is paired with 8GB RAM LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB UFS 2.1 expandable storage (dedicated), and 4,500mAh battery with 18W Dual Engine fast charging technology via USB-C.

Basically, it is more powerful than the V17 in Russia with SD675.

For the cameras, the handset has a highlighting a 48MP primary camera, 8MP 120-degree ultra-wide camera, 2MP macro, and 2MP portrait sensor.

It also has a 32MP selfie camera inside the 2.98 mm hole. Vivo highlighted that its selfie cam has the Super Night Mode tech for better low-light selfies.

The handset has a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual-band WiFi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5, FM Radio, GPS, GLONASS, and dual SIM slots.

It runs with Android 9.0 Pie OS w/ Funtoucn OS 9.2 skin on top.

The phone is available in Glacier Ice White and Midnight Black colorways.

In India, it is priced at INR 22,990 or about PHP 16.5K out of straight conversion. It will go on sale from December 17 in India.
