OnePlus could release its own AirPods competitors

More people are ditching corded earbuds in favor of their true wireless counterparts. Offerings like the Apple AirPods Pro, the Huawei FreeBuds 3, and the Samsung Galaxy Buds are some of the best and most popular options out there. And now, OnePlus looks like it might want in on some of the true wireless earbuds action too.

Tipster Max J. (@Samsung_News_) alluded to new wireless earbuds coming from OnePlus in a recent tweet. We didn’t get any information about the possible earbuds from the post, just a concept image hinting at an upcoming product.

OnePlus already has its own line of wireless earbuds, but they feel a few years behind the competition with a cord connecting the two buds. A pair of true wireless earbuds from OnePlus could be really compelling, especially given the company’s track record of undercutting the competition.

But can they compete against the current offerings or the upcoming Pixel Buds 2? We will have to wait and see.
