Williams, formerly the top architect of Apple‘s mobile chips, started Nuvia in February, which manufactures chips for data centers. It sounds like a dry case, but the juicy picture the two parties are painting makes…

Netflix’s newest original is a scripted series about Spotify

Netflix today announced its plan for a scripted series about “Swedish music sensation Spotify.” The series, based on the book Spotify Untold, will focus on the company’s origin story as it rose from European unknown to household name during the heyday of music piracy. “The story of how a small band of Swedish tech industry insiders transformed music — how we listen to it and how it’s made — is truly a tale of our time,” said Berna Levin, executive producer of Yellow Bird, the producers behind the series. “Not only is this a story about the way all our…

Personally, I’m a little disappointed that Google didn’t offer categories for consumer tech and memes like it did in 2017. Back then, the iPhone 8, iPhone X, and Nintendo Switch were the top three consumer tech searches. Meanwhile, the top meme-related search results back then were Cash Me Outside, United Airlines memes, and Elf on the Shelf.

Our robot colleague Satoshi Nakaboto writes about Bitcoin every fucking day.
