To celebrate the festive season with the customers, ING Bank launched its first Christmas ‘giftbox’ installation in Bonifacio Global City to symbolize the virtue of savings. This installation will also serve as an opportunity to meet the people from ING Bank. Those who are still unfamiliar with digital banking can ask questions freely. 

As an opening speech, ING Bank’s country manager Hans Sicat emphasized the huge importance of saving for the future. 

Being the first digital in the Philippines, we will not be surprised if our customers will in a different way. We also want to take this opportunity to celebrate the digital savings journey that our customers started with us.

ING is a global financial institution that is capably rooted in Europe. With more than 54, 000 employees, ING Bank is offering retail and wholesale banking services to customers in more than 40 countries.  In the Asia Pacific, ING Bank has marketed over 14 countries: Australia, China, Hong Kong SAR, India Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Mongolia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.

From November 2018, the launch of ING as the first digital bank in the Philippines, the banking company claims to instill a mindset of saving. With that, it extended its offer of a 4 percent interest rate per annum for both new and existing customers up to the last day of January next year.

Apart from that, the ING Savings account can be maximized in terms of benefit since the company will provide a PHP 100 rebate per transaction. This is up to two transactions per month, with each successful electronic bank transfer. ING Bank has prepared different kinds of surprises and giveaways every day. For the first night, there were performances by OPM Bands like Ebe Dancel and Ransom Collective to entertain the guests.

As 2019 ends, Google Philippines takes a rewind about the trends, news, personalities, shows, and events that ranked the highest on search queries.

Mervin Wenke, Head of Communications and Public Affairs of Google Philippines explained that the results of these top searches exhibit how Filipinos are spending their time online in this digital age.

The annual Year in a Search serves as a lens to the most relevant topics in pop culture, events, sports, politics, and news that shaped 2019 for Filipinos. It also gives a glimpse into our way of life and how we search online.

The free online chat site Omegle got the number one spot as it became famous for being a virtual hangout. It’s usually for making friends, and talk about chosen topics of interest or fandoms.

Aside from that, there are YouTube creators who utilize Omegle to induce reaction content on their channel. The female from BLACKPINK told that they also engaged in the said chat app, and that went viral in blogs and social networking sites.

The second item that trended this year is the gaming site, MemoryHackers. This is followed by Codashop, a go-to website for gamers where they can avail game credits and vouchers. The rest of the top search list is the most discussed events like the Halalan 2019, Idol Philippines grand finals, and the boxing match between Pacquiao and Broner.

For news, the trending topics show how Filipinos want to be more politically and socially aware nowadays. The May senatorial elections ranked first in this category; whereas results for national exams namely Licensure Examination, Civil Service Commission, and Bar Exam, were next on the list.

Basketball teams and yearly sports competitions gained the highest searches in the events category. Topics like NBA, Wimbledon, and FIBA, and also the match between Golden State Warriors and Toronto Raptors trended so far. The International 2019 (TI9), known as an E-sports event also joined the ranking.

2019 also the year for Filipinos on searching how-to articles and videos for learning new things. The first on this list is how to access dark mode on a smartphone since it is claimed to save battery life and lessen eye strain. The rest of the results are about the Korean language, as well as tutorials on making beef steak and milk tea.

OPPO Reno3 Pro 5G will allegedly arrive in four colors!

OPPO Reno3 Pro 5G will be launched this December 26 and it will feature a screen with curved edges plus a punch-hole design.

According to a leaked promo material, the screen will boast a refresh rate of 90Hz. This 5G device will also have a non-5G variant with the vanilla Reno3 and its 5G version.

The tech giant already unveiled the designs of the said models and also confirmed that they will arrive in four different colors. These colors are Misty White, Moon Night Black, Blue Starry Night, and Sunrise Impression. The Reno3 and Reno3 Pro 5G have also been included on JD.com with their official render in the said colors. 

The listing also shows that the two Reno3 Pro variants will feature in three memory configurations, and 8GB/128GB, a 12GB/128GB, and a 12GB/256GB.

Aside from that, it confirms that Reno3 will sport a 64MP main camera. This is a bit unexpected since the smartphone was listed on TENAA with a 48MP sensor.

Moreover, Oppo stated that Reno3 will pack a 4,035 mAh battery capacity, which is 10 mAh higher than its Pro variant. Still, both will feature a VOOC 4.0 fast charging support.

The listing of the Reno3 model elaborated that it will be 7.96mm thick and weigh 181 grams, which makes it 10 grams heavier and 0.26mm thicker than the Pro variant. There is also a video posted by OPPO on its official website that flaunts Reno3 Pro’s video stabilization.
