Xiaomi Mi 10 and Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro: All the rumors in one place

The Xiaomi Mi 10 will be powered by the Snapdragon 865.Qualcomm

It’s 2020 and Xiaomi has a big year planned ahead. The company intends to launch more than 10 5G phones and the new Mi 10 series is expected to kick off this spate of launches.

The company has already confirmed the existence of the Xiaomi Mi 10 and the Mi 10 Pro. The phones are expected to make an appearance at the Mobile World Congress 2020. Moreover, specs and prices for the two 2020 Xiaomi flagships have also leaked. The duo seem to differ in terms of their camera setup, RAM variants, and battery capacities.

Here are all the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro rumors we’ve come across so far.

Xiaomi Mi 10 specs

The Xiaomi Mi 10 is believed to be the more affordable one of the lot. As per leaked specs, the Mi 10 could feature a 6.5-inch 90Hz OLED display.

Xiaomi has already confirmed that the device will get the Snapdragon 865 silicon, meaning it will support dual-mode 5G connectivity.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 is also expected to have a quad-camera setup, with a Sony IMX686 sensor leading the pack. This is the same 64MP sensor featured on the Redmi K30. Other sensors in the rear camera setup are said to include a 20MP secondary sensor, a 12MP sensor (likely telephoto), and a 5MP snapper (possibly for depth sensing). It might also feature 30x digital zoom.

Rumors suggest that the Mi 10 will house a 4,500mAh battery.

Same as the Mi 9 Pro, Xiaomi could bring 40W wired fast charging and 30W wireless fast charging to the phone. If so, you can expect the phone to fully charge under an hour. The Mi 10 is also said to support 10W reverse wireless charging to juice up other device.

Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro specs

The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro is said to feature the same 6.5-inch 90Hz OLED display as the Mi 10. The flagship Snapdragon 865 SoC will also power the Pro variant.

The phone could get a 4,500mAh battery and support 66W fast charging, as well as 40W wireless fast charging.

The Mi 10 Pro apparently ups the camera setup and houses a 108MP primary shooter. We previously saw Xiaomi use the high resolution camera on the Mi Note 10. A 48MP secondary camera, a 12MP possible telephoto lens, and an 8MP camera could complete the setup.

Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro price and availability

As previously mentioned, the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro could be unveiled in February at MWC 2020. Unlike last year, Xiaomi is expected to reveal both phones at the same time.

The phones could start shipping by March 2020.

The same source who outed the specs has also leaked prices for the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro. The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro is said to start at 3,799 Yuan (~$545) for the 12GB of RAM + 128GB storage variant. The 12GB of RAM + 256GB storage model is rumored to cost 4,099 Yuan (~$588), while the 12GB of RAM + 512GB storage configuration could be priced at 4,499 Yuan (~$645).

The Mi 10, on the other hand, is expected to come in three configurations: 8GB of RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. Prices of the phone are suggested to start at 3,100 Yuan (~$444).

So that’s all we know about the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro so far. The leaked specs give out almost everything, expect the front camera configuration and design details. Surprisingly, we haven’t seen any leaked renders of the phones yet, but we’re sure either Xiaomi or a tipster will show them off closer to the launch time frame.

Why tinnitus is still such a mystery to ear scientists

Despite the many groundbreaking medical advances of the last century, there are still some conditions that continue to perplex scientists. One such symptom is tinnitus, which people have reported experiencing as far back as the 1600 BC. Tinnitus is characterized by hearing unwanted sounds, such as a ringing, buzzing, or humming noise in your ears or head. For one in eight people, these sounds never disappear.
