Special events like Season 12’s “2gether We Play” theme, arcade machines, and an amusement park ride popping up in classic Erangel will punctuate the festivities starting next week.

This update also adds a new AirDrop weapon called the DBS Shotgun. It fires two rounds of 12-gauge ammo for extreme damage at close range.

Other notable changes include death replays, colorblind mode, enhanced teammate volume controls, and a return of the extra-realistic Hardcore Mode. For a full list of changes in the PUBG Mobile 0.17.0 update, check out the official patch notes.

PUBG Fury of the Wasteland Update

Release date: November 8, 2019

Another month, another PUBG Mobile update, and this point release ushers in the game’s Royal Pass Season 10 — Fury of the Wasteland. In this latest content update, we say goodbye to last month’s spooky shenanigans and hello to the new rugged Apocalypse theme!

One of the most exciting and substantial additions in PUBG Mobile’s newest content is a new team deathmatch map called Ruins. The new map landscape features ancient Mayan looking ruins hidden in the middle of a lush rainforest. It looks like there will be plenty of nooks and crannies to hide in on this map, so queue the campers.

Players can immediately get their hands on a brand new high fire-rate SMG and a new damage resistant vehicle, and a new vehicle engineer character is coming in the near future. The game is even introducing a new companion system soon that will let players use a falcon to collect materials on their behalf.

There are other new in-game rewards and tweaks coming in this point release, so check it out for yourself to experience all PUBG Mobile has to offer!

Release date: October 16, 2019

Earlier this year, the PUBG team partnered with Resident Evil 2 to introduce the Survive Till Dawn mode. As of today, players can get into the Halloween spirit with the mode’s new “Halloweeks” theme. Later this month, a new Payload Mode will bring new heavy weapons, a helicopter, air strikes, a teammate revival mechanic, and more. Also, until further notice, The Darkest Night mode will be taken offline for further tuning.

Some other new features include a new ledge grab mechanic that allows players to reach previously inaccessible places, a new land and sea vehicle, exploding fuel drums for laying traps, and four types of graffiti for players to maPUBG update: The latestrk the battleground. Several guns have also been fine-tuned, and the Desert Eagle pistol has been added to the game.

With this update, the team improved game performance, tuned the touch controls, and enhanced the inventory systems. It also now runs smoother while consuming less power, making devices less likely to heat up in the users’ hands.

Google Photos redesign hides search in bottom tab and removes hamburger menu (Update: More screenshots)

It also makes the bottom bar labels more intuitive and adds long-awaited features, though

Google Photos hasn't seen any substantial interface changes since its inception as a standalone app, minus the addition of the bottom bar in 2016. Bigger changes are headed our way, though, following the introduction of the new account picker on the heels. They come in the form of a redesigned UI that does away with the always accessible search bar up top and the hamburger menu.

Motorola Razr: Price and release date (Update: India launch date)

Update, March 4, 2020 (1:38AM ET): Motorola is sending out media invites for the launch of the Razr in India. We’ve updated the original article with the India launch date for the phone as well as its expected Indian pricing.

We’ve also added purchase information for the Razr in the UK, US, and Europe.

Continue on for all the information we know so far about the Motorola Razr price, release date, and availability. Be sure to bookmark this page as we will update it often with any new details that drop.

Original article, November 13, 2019 (11:16 AM ET): Motorola took the wraps off its very first foldable device this week: the Motorola Razr! The new smartphone joins the very limited selection of foldable devices launched this year, including the Samsung Galaxy Fold and the Huawei Mate X. However, the Motorola Razr price is much lower than those phones.

That doesn’t mean that the Razr is cheap! On the contrary, this is still a very expensive device, especially when you consider it has a much weaker spec sheet than the Mate X or the Galaxy Fold. Still, the design of the device is much different than those foldables and might be the practical product that will get people interested in the foldable future.

Motorola Razr release date

Moto Razr foldable unfolded top of screen 1

Motorola formally launched the Razr at an event in Los Angeles on November 13, 2019. The device looks just like the Razr phones from the early 2000s — in fact, folded in half, the device is as thin as the very first Razr phone from 2004.

Motorola is continuing its partnership with Verizon and offering the Razr as an exclusive on that carrier. Pre-orders for the Razr were scheduled to open on December 26, 2019, but Motorola later delayed that date due to high demand. It previously announced a general in-store availability beginning on January 9, 2020, but that date was also delayed.

The phone finally went up on pre-order in the US on January 27 and sales for the device started on February 6.

While it’s likely the device will eventually be available as an unlocked model, keep in mind that only Verizon customers will have access to the device in the United States at first.

Continue on to read about the Motorola Razr price and release dates in other countries around the world.

Motorola Razr US price and availability

On Verizon in the US, the Motorola Razr is priced at $1,499. You can either pay for the device outright or sign up for a payment plan and pay $62.49 per month for the next 24 months.

That price is a little lower than the Samsung Galaxy Fold, which starts at $1,980. It’s also significantly cheaper than the Huawei Mate X, which starts at €2,299 (~$2,529). However, since there’s just a Snapdragon 710 on board with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, one wonders why the company couldn’t make the Motorola Razr price even lower than $1,500.

In comparison, Samsung’s new clamshell foldable — the Galaxy Z Flip — is priced at $1,380 and comes with a superior Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset. You can read our review of the Galaxy Z Flip here.

If you’re still interested in picking up the Motorola Razr from Verizon, you can do so by hitting the buy button below.

Motorola Razr UK price and availability

The Motorola Razr is also available in the UK through an exclusive partnership with EE. Customers in UK will have to shell out upwards of £2,000 (~$2,562) to buy the Razr on contract.

The cheapest EE plan for the Razr starts at £94 (~$120) for 24 months. For that you’ll get a mere 10GB of data per month and will have to shell out £100 up-front to purchase the plan. This way you end up paying £2,356 (~$3,018) for the phone over the course of the two-year plan.

If you want to pick up the Motorola Razr from EE in the UK, you can head here to check out all the plans and purchase it.

Motorola Razr India price and availability

Motorola has confirmed that the Razr will launch in India on March 16. The company has reportedly sent out media invites for a launch event in the country where it’ll announce the India price and availability for the phone.

If the Razr costs anywhere close to its US price of $1,500, you can expect its India price to breach the Rs 1 lakh mark easily.

Interested Indian buyers can register for more details via Motorola’s link over here.

Motorola Razr Europe price and availability

The Motorola Razr in also available in select regions across Europe. In Italy, the phone is available through carrier TIM and costs €1,599 (~$1,784). In France, it’s slightly more expensive and is still on pre-order for €1,699 (~$1,895).
