Huawei Mobile Philippines has announced the price cuts for the MediaPad M5 lite tablet and Y9s mid-range phone.

Originally, the MediaPad M5 lite is priced at PHP 18,990. Then Huawei slashed it down to 15,990. Now, you can get it for just PHP 13,990.

As a quick recap, MediaPad M5 lite is a multimedia-focused tablet packed with a 10.1-inch display, 7,500mAh battery, quad-speaker setup, and M-Pen lite stylus.

Y9s with an all-screen design

Next is the Huawei Y9s, one of the newest mid-rangers of the Chinese tech giant in town. From PHP 13,990, it is now priced at just PHP 12,990.

To recall, it is mid-ranger packed P30 flagship-like 3D glass back design in Midnight Black and Breathing Crystal colors, notchless 6.59-inch LTPS FHD+ screen, 12nm Kirin 710F SoC, 6GB RAM, 128Gb expandable storage, 4,000mAh battery with USB-C charging, 48MP + 8MP + 2MP triple-cam, 16MP pop-up selfie cam, fingerprint reader behind, 4G LTE, and dual SIM slots.

Apple Launches Repair Program for Blank Screen Issue Affecting Third-Generation iPad Air

Apple today launched a repair program for third-generation iPad Air models that are affected by a bug that can cause the screen to go suddenly and permanently go blank.

Apple has determined that, under certain circumstances, the screen on a limited number of iPad Air (3rd generation) devices may go blank permanently. A brief flicker or flash may appear before the screen goes blank.

Apple says that affected devices were manufactured between March 2019 and October 2019, and that any iPad experiencing this issue will be repaired by Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider free of charge.

Customers who have an ‌iPad‌ Air with a screen that's gone blank should find an Apple Authorized Service Provider, make an appointment at an Apple retail location, or contact Apple support to arrange a mail-in service through the Apple Repair Center.

The new repair program covers affected third-generation ‌iPad‌ Air models for two years after the first retail sale of the unit.
