Deezer might not be the most popular music streaming service, but it has carved out a niche market with its optional high-fidelity collection and other features. Now the Android and iOS apps have one more feature that might win some folks over: music lyrics appear on your TV when you're playing music on a Chromecast.

The feature works exactly as you'd expect: tap the Cast button in the Deezer app, select your Chromecast (or other Cast-compatible device, like a smart TV), and the lyrics on the TV will follow along to the music.

Redmi Note 9 might feature Helio P75 instead, not Helio G70

Recently, the alleged Redmi Note 9 has appeared on Geekbench with a "Xiaomi Merlin" codename.

The handset comes with the MT6769V/CZ which is suspected to be a modified MediaTek Helio G70 octa-core processor. But according to new reports, the said chip is not the G70. Instead, it'll be a new MediaTek chipset dubbed as Helio P75.

Xiaomi Merlin is believed to be the Redmi Note 9

Compared to the Helio G70, the Helio P75 comes with 1.8GHz base frequency, not 1.7GHz. It is said to be the chip that will sit in between P70 and P90 chips.

Coming from the Redmi Note 8 with the Snapdragon 665 chip, the possible Helio P75 could be the slightly better chip.

However, it doesn't look that much better than the Helio G70 with similar benchmark scores.

Let's wait and see. The Redmi Note 9 phones will be revealed today March 12, 2020, in an online event in India.

Netflix introduces a plan exclusive on mobile in the Philippines for PHP 149 per month

Streaming platform Netflix is bringing a mobile-only plan here in the Philippines. For just PHP 149 per month, a user can create up to five accounts.

Netflix is taking steps to meet the Philippines' mobile streaming demand with a new plan that comes at an attractive price point. It rolls out a new mobile plan that is designed for those who stream only on their phone or tablet.

It can be availed for 149 pesos only

Netflix's director of product innovation Patrick Flemming described that plan as super competitive and compelling. He stated,

We’re enthusiastic to introduce the Mobile plan in the Philippines to make it even easier for anyone with a smartphone to enjoy Netflix. At home or on the go, now more people can watch all the shows and movies Netflix has to offer, wherever and whenever they want.

Flemming also explained that the new plan is not available to all regions. They only choose which countries they think would need or suit the plan. Based on their research, Filipinos use their phones when consuming online content twice as much as the rest of the world does. He pointed out that two out of three Filipinos use downloads on their phones to watch Netflix on the go.

For those who are interested, you may download the Netflix app or visit its official website to register for the mobile plan for PHP 149 per month.

The Netflix Mobile Plan lets users stream shows and movies on smartphones and tablets only, with unlimited access to Netflix's library of content. There will be no ads, and a user can create up to 5 accounts as mentioned. The Kids profile is still available, in case the user prefers parental controls when his/her child watches with the account.

Moreover, this plan is also equipped with a feature called Smart Downloads. This is for users who download content before their commute since it always recommends the next title that should be in their queue. 

This Mobile Plan has rolled out in other countries like India, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia.

There other three plans: basic for PHP 369/month, standard for PHP 459/month, and premium for PHP 549/month.
