Nearly a year after, Sennheiser updates its popular true wireless earphones with the new Momentum Ture Wireless 2. It promises improved battery life from the original's 4 hours to 7 hours. This bumps up the total battery life with the charging case to a whopping 28 hours of playback.

Inside the new earphones is a new Bluetooth 5.1 chip that Sennheiser claims has solved the battery drain that plagued the original. It now supports SBC, AAC, and aptX codecs while maintaining the IPX4 splash-resistant rating, the voice assistant support, and the touch gestures.

The biggest new feature is Active Noise cancellation that promises to not degrade audio quality while turned on. Transparent Hearing returns with which allows you to blend the ambient sound with the media you are listening to so you don't have to take your earphones off while having a conversation.

It comes in Black and White colorways. The Black is scheduled to arrive in April while the White will be available at a later date. It starts at USD 300 or around PHP 15K. 

The original Momentums are available in the Philippines but there is no word when the new version will arrive locally nor is there information on local pricing.
