Apart from the face masks, Vivo has distributed handwritten letters of gratitude and encouragement to boost the morale of frontliners. Some of the letters were directed to COVID-19 patients to give them hope.

With their valiant efforts, our medical frontliners are truly the heroes in this battle we are waging, but we also understand they are also human and can be physically and emotionally exhausted, said Charisma Buan, Vivo Philippines PR Lead.

Along with providing much-needed support, we also want to instill hope during this pandemic, especially to the victims and their families. With our modest contribution, we hope to help our medical frontliners in flattening the curve soon.

Thank you, Vivo!

A promising Smart TV with new innovations?

The poster revealed that it'll be the company's very first TV with a 65-inch OLED panel. It is said to be an OLED screen that supports a new display-color technology.

The other highlight of the TV is it'll come with a 24MP pop-up camera above the screen.

The X65 will also come with an ambient sensor that will be used to adjust the screen for more natural colors.

Richard Yu, the CEO of Huawei Technologies Consumer Business Group also teased that the TV will support a new means of controls without voice or remote control. It is speculated to be some sort of air gesture control.

Previously, Huawei used the pop-up cam on Smart TVs for face recognition, body tracking, and posture detection.

Lastly, the TV will come with 14 speakers under the screen with a calibration process to feel out the soundscape in your room and create a sound profile for surround sound audio.

The TV will run with HongMeng OS, the Chinese version of the company's promising Harmony OS.

The TV is expected to be unleashed this Wednesday. Stay tuned.
