Samsung beats TSMC to manufacture the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G!

Korean Investors report that Samsung has sealed a deal with Qualcomm to manufacture the 8nm, 5G capable Snapdragon 750.

Samsung is on a roll!

A month ago, it was revealed that Samsung has closed a MASSIVE 1 Trillion KRW (USD 844 Million) deal with Qualcomm to manufacture the flagship Snapdragon 875 SoC for high-end 5G smartphones using its 5nm EUV fabrication process.

Now in October, Korean Investors by The Korea Economic Daily reports that Samsung will also manufacture the Snapdragon 750G using Samsung's 8nm manufacturing process. The 8nm process was chosen because it allows the manufacturing of power-efficient chipsets at relatively low price compared to the 7nm and finer processing technology.

Successor to the Snapdragon 730G, the upcoming Snapdragon 750G is expected to arrive on the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite and the Samsung Galaxy A42.

By winning the bid to manufacture the Snapdragon 750G, Samsung is expected to increase its foundry marketshare. The current leader is the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company with a 53.9 percent market share while Samsung controls 17.4 percent of the market. By bagging the Snapdragon 875 and 750G, the Korean giant is expected to rise above 20 percent next year.

Hey so i am tryna make my own tweak, but whe i use class dump it says it doesn't support 64 bits, so i compiled one from github and i have a single problem now it says that it can't find the directory but when i go to the place where i wrote it it does exist and yes i am on su mode

Everything but the kitchen sink: Realme launches a ton of smart home products

Realme has drawn inspiration from the likes of Huawei, Samsung, and Xiaomi for its overall product strategy, quickly expanding its presence in the smart home and IoT space. Now, the company has announced a ton of gadgets in this regard in India.

The most expensive device on the list is the 55-inch Realme Smart TV SLED 4K, coming in at Rs 42,999 (~$587) or Rs 39,999 (~$546) as a special offer. This is marketed as the world’s first SLED 4K smart TV, with SLED touted by Realme as an alternative to QLED technology.

The brand previously claimed that SLED tech makes use of a white backlight formed from RGB colors as opposed to traditional LED and QLED TVs using a blue backlight that turns white. Realme says this enables a wider color gamut (108% NTSC) and better eye protection than QLED and LED panels, but we’ll have to put this claim to the test.

The Realme Smart TV SLED 4K also packs a quad-core MediaTek processor, Chroma Boost, 24W quad stereo speakers, Android TV based on Android Pie, and Chromecast support.

Need even better audio quality for your living room? Then the company has also unveiled the Rs 6,999 (~$95) Realme 100W soundbar, packing two speakers, two tweeters, and a subwoofer.

Wireless audio and mobile

Realme also had a new smartphone to bring to India in the Realme 7i. The phone previously launched in several other Asian countries last month, and packs a Snapdragon 662 chipset, 4GB of RAM, 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging, and a 6.5-inch 90Hz LCD screen.

Other notable Realme 7i features include a 64MP quad camera setup (64MP+8MP+2MP+2MP), a 16MP selfie camera in a punch-hole cutout, and a rear fingerprint scanner. Expect to pay Rs 11,999 (~$164) and Rs 12,999 (~$177) for the 64GB and 128GB variants respectively.

The BBK brand also launched a new Realme 7 Pro variant, dubbed the Sun Kissed Leather edition. It’ll be available for the same price as the Realme 7 Pro itself (from Rs 19,999 or ~$273) when it goes on sale on October 16, but packs a vegan leather back.

Next on the list are two more wireless audio entries in the Bluetooth 5-toting Realme Buds Air Pro true wireless earbuds and Buds Wireless Pro neckband earphones.

The case for the Realme TWS buds resemble that of the Vivo TWS Neo buds, but the buds themselves seem to differ from each other. Otherwise, you can expect 25 hours of total playback with the case, active noise cancellation, and 94ms of latency.

Meanwhile, the Buds Wireless Pro delivers active noise cancellation, support for the LDAC codec, IPX4 splash resistance, and 22 hours of playback (with a five minute charge netting you 1.7 hours of playback).

Expect to pay Rs 4,999 (~$68) for the Realme Buds Air Pro and Rs 3,999 (~$55)  for the Realme Buds Wireless Pro when they go on sale from October 16. However, the firm is also offering a first sale promotion that cuts these prices down to Rs 4,499 (~$61) and Rs 2,999 (~$41) respectively.

Rounding out the list of Realme ecosystem and smart home products announced at the launch are the Realme N1 sonic electric toothbrush, Realme 360 Smart Cam for security (with 1080p video), the Realme Smart Plug, a selfie tripod with Bluetooth 5.1, and the Realme 20,000mAh Power Bank 2.

The 360 security camera, smart plug, and selfie tripod are all pretty self-explanatory, and have regular prices of Rs 2,999 (~$41), Rs 799 (~$11), and Rs 1,199 (~$16) respectively.

Meanwhile, the Power Bank 2 delivers 18W two-way charging, a USB-C and two USB-A output ports, and a Rs 1,599 (~$22) price tag. The Realme N1 toothbrush has a claimed battery life of up to 130 days, three cleaning modes, and a Rs 799 (~$11) price tag.
