Araneta Group partners with PLDT and Smart Communications, Inc. to bring 5G technology to Gateway Mall and Araneta Center, Cubao.

Smart 5G arrives at Araneta, Cubao!

Aside from the rolled-out Fibr powered WiFi connectivity through Google Station in Gateway Mall, Smart Araneta Coliseum, New Frontier Theater, and the Araneta City bus port, PLDT, Smart with the Araneta has announced Araneta is now a 5G City at the Gateway Mall.

At the event, PLDT Chairman and CEO Manuel V. Pangilinan and Araneta Group of Companies chairman Jorge L. Araneta were present at the signing ceremonies and during the 5G use-case demonstration and pocket activities.

This enables residents and visitors of Araneta City, Cubao to connect wirelessly at high speeds but with low latency through 5G.
