The Redmi K30 series is set to be another affordable smartphone lineup from Xiaomi, packing 5G connectivity as well. We’ve already seen the dual punch-hole display, and Redmi has now shown off the back of one of the models.
The Xiaomi sub-brand posted a picture on Weibo (seen above), showing a Redmi K30 series device with a coin-slot style camera housing. Look a little closer and you’ll spot four vertically aligned cameras on the circular housing.

We’re not quite sure what to expect from the Redmi K30 series’ quad cameras but if it’s anything like the Redmi K20 series, then normal, telephoto and ultra-wide cameras are all but guaranteed. Xiaomi has also added macro and/or depth cameras to its multi-camera setups in recent months.
We’re expecting at least two phones in the Redmi K30 series, so it’s possible this quad camera setup is for one model and that we’ll see a different setup for the other device.
In any event, these aren’t the only Redmi K30 series details revealed by Xiaomi this week. The brand also posted a picture showing the front of a Redmi K30 series phone (seen above), giving us another look at the dual punch hole display. Furthermore, a separate post reiterates the K30’s 5G details, saying it offers Qualcomm’s latest 5G solution (presumably the X55 modem), and SA and NSA 5G connectivity.
The Redmi K30 series is set for launch later this month in China, but there’s no word on a launch outside its home market yet. Xiaomi’s Mi Mix 3 5G made a splash in Europe as one of the most affordable 5G phones this year, so hopefully similar plans are afoot for the K30 range.
