Fresh from the Qualcomm Snapdragon Tech Summit in Hawaii, OPPO announced it will have one of the first smartphones powered by the newly announced Snapdragon 865 Mobile Platform.

5G-powered OPPO devices soon!
OPPO also revealed that its upcoming SD865 device will feature 5G connectivity. It means that the SD865 chip will be paired with the Snapdragon X55 5G modem the SoC doesn't have an integrated 5G chip.
The company hasn't shared much about the said SD865 powered device, but the company noted that they have an upcoming new-gen flagship Find X.
Based on its keynote, it is coming soon in Q1 2020.

Apart from the Find X, OPPO will also launch the Reno3 Pro, a Snapdragon 765 5G-powered device this December 2019. OPPO's SD765 Reno 3 Pro will be the company's first dual-mode 5G handset.
This milestone is geared towards bringing premium smartphones through superior 5G connectivity, which will soon be experienced in the upcoming Reno3 Pro and the flagship Find X. OPPO will be rolling out more 5G products aside from those mentioned, so stay for more developments.
