A few weeks ago, Vivo shared that it is working on a new Android skin that could replace its current Funtouch skin, the Jovi OS. But on Weibo, after multiple consultations with team members, the product manager of FunTouch shared that they have decided to suspend the plan to rename the OS.

No more Jovi OS for now
He apologized for the confusion that the decision has caused has Weibo. This means that Vivo's Android skin will remain to be the Funtouch OS.

The FunTouch project manager also shared that there will be a new version of the Funtouch OS that will be announced on December 16 along with the X30.
The Android skin will bring new features like the "Application Sharing" that will allow users to share an app on your phone to another phone.
On the other news, the Vivo X30 and X30 Pro will be the first phones powered by Samsung's Exynos 980 5G chip. Both will feature a punch-hole AMOLED screen, 33W fast charging, and powerful cameras.
