Redmi Note 8 Pro scores 84 point |
Not bad for an affordable camera phone!
The score isn't that impressive considering that it has a strong-looking 64MP quad-camera system. But, compared with most similarly priced handsets, it isn't that bad.
It achieved the same score of the LG V30 and Black Shark 2. Also, it is just 1 point shy of the penta-cam powered Nokia 9 PureView.
DxOMark noted that it has a fast and accurate focus in daylight, good stabilization for videos, but the dynamic range is limited.
The camera testing experts also noted that it does a decent job and it provides a good amount of smartphone camera bang for your buck.
Just don't expect it to compete with the current more expensive flagships just because it has a 64MP primary camera.
Here in the Philippines, the Redmi Note 8 Pro has a starting price of PHP 11,490. To check our camera samples and impressions, read here.
