E-commerce giant Lazada encouraged its users to donate for Filipinos and animals displaced by the Taal Volcano's eruption through its digital giving platform.

Donate digitally on Lazada app
Its LazadaForGood, which has become a permanent feature on the mobile app, allows consumers to extend help, starting PHP 50, to those who are in need just by using their smartphones.Lazada teamed up with two organizations to help distribute the needed goods for affected communities.
The firm said church-based nonprofit Caritas Manila would focus on distributing supplies such as food, clean water, sleeping mats, hygiene
supplies, face masks, and more. Lazada noted donations may range from PHP 50 to PHP 1,000.
Pedigree Philippines, meanwhile, seeks for pet food donations where proceeds will be donated to PETA Asia, an Asia based animal rights group, to help feed stray animals stranded from the evacuation.
For just PHP 75, you can provide four meals for one animal, or up to PHP 1,400 for 100 meals for animals.
To donate:
1. Open the Lazada app and click "Load, Bills, and Ecoupon"
2. Click "Donation" from the categories
3. Choose "Pedigree (Donate to Peta) among the options or Caritas Manila
- For Pedigree donations, pick your meal donation quantity
4. Click "Buy Now" and donate
