Bachelor in Gaming?
On the official Instagram page of TierOne Entertainment, the eSports and gaming agency revealed that their CEO currently has the first draft of the eSports curriculum with him in the Lyceum of the Philippines University in Manila.
The post also revealed that they are fully committed to making it a reality and that they are scheduled to pass the curriculum to the Commission on Higher Education in March of this year. If everything goes as planned, we could have the course be available by the next academic year in 2020.
TierOne Entertainment Co-Founder Alodia Gosiengfiao shares 'how feelings of doubt and uncertainty in the esports industry back then didn't stop her from doing what she loves while balancing other aspects of her life.'
It is worth taking note that countries like the United States and the United Kingdom already offer several degree programs that focus on online gaming.
