To recall, the Galaxy Z Flip is the world's first clamshell foldable phone that uses a glass panel. It features a primary 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED Infinity Flex display on the front and a secondary 1.1-inch Super AMOLED display on the back. Inside is a Snapdragon 855 Plus octa-core processor, Adreno 640 GPU, 8GB RAM, 256GB of internal storage, and 3300mAh battery.

Globe is offering the foldable handset on its 'ThePLAN' and on its 'ThePLATINUM Plan' subscription. For only PHP 1,799 per month for 24 months with 'ThePLAN 1799', you can get the Galaxy Z Flip with a cashout of PHP 49,200 with 15GB of Data, Unli Calls to Globe/TM, Unli All-net Texts, 100 Free Minutes All-net calls, Free 6 Months Amazon Prime Video, Free 3 Months iFlix VIP, Free 1GB Facebook per month for 24 months, Gadget Care, and Free Shipping.

Globe is also offering the Z Flip with their 'ThePLATINUM Plan' for PHP 3,799 per month that offers a one-time cashout of PHP 28,800 for the device. This includes All-Month Data Surfing, Unli Calls and Texts to all Networks, and Unli Calls to DUO and Landline.

With Smart's Signature Device Plan L, you can get the Z Flip for an initial cashout of PHP 49,800 and a monthly fee of PHP 1,999 for 24 months. This includes 15GB of Data, Unli AnyNet Texts, Unli On-net Calls and 150 Minutes of AnyNet Calls.

If you compare the Plans from both telcos, Globe's thePlan 1799 and Smart's Signature Device Plan L for PHP 1,999 have comparable pricing and inclusions. You will, however, be paying an extra PHP 200 per month for 24 months and an extra PHP 600 in initial cashout with Smart's Signature compared to Globe's 'thePlan'. It is worth taking note that the Smart Signature Plan will offer network priority and 50 extra free minutes when calling a person subscribed to Smart and to other networks.

Smart also doesn't have an equivalent service to 'ThePLATINUM Plan' 3799's All-month Data surfing that cater to the power users who demand unlimited data plans.
