Huawei patents a smartphone with 8 cameras
On the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), eagle-eyed tech enthusiasts spotted a new patent filing from Huawei.
The new design patent, while not so far removed from the build of existing Huawei devices, is reported of a smartphone with a whopping eight cameras in total.

This is comprised of two front-facing camera sensors shaped like a pill and six on its back, arranged in a rectangular module in the middle whilst slightly protruding when looked at sideways.
From the renders, the display appears to be flat and has thin bezels bordering it. The phone also has features on its sides including a microphone, IR blaster, volume rocker, power button, speaker grille, card slot, and a still-to-be-identified USB port.
No specs and device name have been reported so far. And since it looks to be a phone still in its early stages of development, this current render we have is expected to undergo various facelifts. Regardless of future changes, there's no doubt that this will be an exciting phone for photography fans.
