Sharing the good life with the children from Shelter of Hope
It was December last year when LG PH hosted a launch event with Netflix to showcase the animated film entitled Klaus. In line with the spirit of the gift-giving theme of this movie, LG promised to give home appliances from the company that costs more than a million pesos to Shelter of Hope.
Shelter of Hope or Silungan ng Pag-asa is a temporary home of kids from the provinces who are ill because of cancer. The donated home appliances will bring an improvement to their quality of living plus enjoyment.
The appliances were formally delivered during a small gathering in celebration of love month which is February, and also World Cancer Day on February 4.

Inkwun Heo, LG Managing Director, together with his team turned over the donations to Pastor Junie Antinero of Shelter of Hope. He stated,
It is our privilege to be partners with Shelter of Hope. The bravery and strength of these children is something we can all look up to. To be able to give them happiness, no matter how small, is a goal that we constantly work towards for.
Pastor Junie also shared his gratefulness on behalf of the children for the donated LG appliances. He mentioned that these are really blessings since the appliances that they have are already outdated and worn-out. After the turn over of donations, the children from Shelter of Hope performed interpretative dances to express their gratitude for the blessings.
The donated appliances came in part of the #ShareTheGoodLifeWithLG campaign last year during the holiday season. As a way of giving back, LG allocated a portion of each sale of every product to as proceeds to furnish the home of cancer-stricken children.
What are your thoughts about LG's effort to help the community and less-fortunate?
