UiiSii, a company that specializes in making high-quality consumer products has recently sent us the Hi-905. Here's what we think about it.

Meet UiiSii Hi-905 Hi-Res balanced armature headphones
Unboxed |
Inside the box of the UiiSii are the Hi-905 headphones, 5 extra pairs of different sized ear cups, hard case, velcro cable tie, manual and thank you card.
The hard case measures around 5-inches diagonally and opens up with a zipper. The Zipper handle can be secured with the built-in elastic tie. Inside the case is a meshed compartment to neatly keep the headphones.
The headphones come with a 120cm cable that feels super solid and firm when you hold and pull on the cable from both ends.
At one end of the cable is the full size 3.5mm headphone jack.
At the other end of the cable are the metal-made and eye-catching earpieces. The metal earpieces are incredibly solid and hefty that reassures you that these are built to last.
One end of the earpieces connect to the cable and the other end connects to speakers and to the silicone ear cups. It comes with five extra silicone cups so you can choose from a total of 6 different sized cups.
One nitpick I have with the 6 ear cups is that they too thin to hold the cup shape so the cup shape flattens with minimal pressure.
The Hi-905 produces a sound that is palpably stronger but somewhat restrained compared to more mainstream earphones. the tonality, separation, and clarity are the first noticeable good points of the Hi-905. The mids and highs are as prominent as the bass which gives each one a chance to shine.
The soundstage is not that large, but the sound isolation is near perfect for non-headphones.
Overall, the sound is good but if you are looking for a large sound stage or heart-pounding power, you may want to look elsewhere.

Quick thoughts
UiiSii Hi-905 close-up |
The UiiSii Hi-905 offers outstanding value if you are looking for wired earphones with good isolation, good sound separation, good sound clarity, and good tonality. The sound is just so refined for its price point.
However, you may want to look elsewhere if you want a large sound stage or a heart-pounding sound.
It is priced at USD 43.99 (around PHP 2.2K) without shipping and you can find it in this link.
