According to the latest report from global market analyst Canalys, realme grew by 709 percent in year-on-year (YoY) in the Philippines and is now the new number 4 brand for Q4 2019.

Realme just launched 6 devices in 2019, but those devices come with highly competitive specs and features for the price which resulted in record-breaking sales for the brand in both online and offline sales.

The other reason for realme's massive growth is the way it quickly established offline and online sales channels. After it turned 1 last November 2019, realme claimed that it now has over 4,500 partner stores in the country. Realme also announced that it now has 280 kiosks and 24 concept stores nationwide

To propel the market value of the company, realme also established a wide array of partnerships it has sealed in the previous year, such as those with SM Supermalls, Home Credit, Qualcomm, and Mobile Legends Developer Moonton.

Realme also said that it will be offering a competitive 5G smartphone line this year.

The same global study showed that the Philippines witnessed a growth of 28 percent in total smartphone shipments in the same quarter.
The top 5 smartphone brands in the Philippines in Q4 2019 are OPPO, Vivo, Samsung, realme, and Huawei.
