1. Premium build
- Unlike other similarly priced handsets, the Huawei Y7p is packed with a real 2.5D curved back panel. It comes in Midnight Black and Aura Blue colorways. The Aurora Blue design is a gradient between green and blue colors. The frame is polycarbonate, but it feels solid and well-machined with smooth curves. In front, it has a 6.39-inch 2.5D curved glass screen with HD+ resolution. The special thing about it is it has a punch-hole to house the selfie cam.

2. Punch-hole screen - As mentioned the Y7p has a 6.39-inch panel with a punch-hole to house the selfie camera. This is one of the most affordable with the said type of display at this price point.

Dubbed as the Punch FullView Display, the Huawei Y7p has an impressive 90.15 percent of screen-to-body ratio. This simply means that it has a wider screen real estate for a more immersive viewing experience versus other phones.

3. Great specs for the price - The Y7p is also the most affordable with the Kirin 710F. The 12nm Kirin 710F is considered as quite fast for a phone priced this low. Huawei paired it with large 4GB RAM, 64GB expandable storage up to 512GB via microSD slot, and a large 4,000mAh battery. One minor downside is it is still using an old micro USB port with 10W charging.

For the software, it doesn't have Google Mobile Services. Instead, you will get the Huawei Mobile Services with AppGallery. Apart from the AppGallery, you can also download apps using other APK sites.

4. 48MP triple-cam - For PHP 10K, not all are still using a 48MP camera. The good news, the Y7p is packed with a 48MP f/1.8 primary camera paired with two more cameras at the back. It has a secondary 8MP ultra-wide camera and a third 2MP depth camera.

The main camera is capable of shooting using the AI-assisted Night mode. The wide cam is 120-degree wide. The depth is there to help you take cleaner bokeh shots.

For videos, it can shoot up to 1080p videos at 60fps and a 720p video at 480fps.

The selfie cam found in the punch-hole is an 8MP f/2.0 shooter.

5. The price - As mentioned the Y7p is priced at just PHP 9,990. It is one of the most affordable with such specs at this price point.
