Settling telco bills extended amid COVID-19
In an advisory, PLDT said all of the postpaid customers of PLDT Home, PLDT Enterprise, Smart and Sun can be at ease as the group decided to extend its collection of telco fees.
The Pangilinan-led group said this will allow Filipinos to stay connected, and be online to know about the developments of the said outbreak.
Globe Telecom, meanwhile, said in a statement all the mobile and broadband customers, including business and enterprise clients, across the country would have an extra 30 days from the due date to settle their monthly payment.
Globe understands that during these difficult times, the need to be connected and informed on the latest developments in the fight against the global pandemic is very important to everyone. Globe believes the extension of the bill payment will be one less worry for our customers especially during these difficult times, Ernest Cu, Globe President and CEO said.
Globe said this was also in support of the Philippine government's move to put the entire Luzon under enhanced community quarantine.
The company has also urged its subscribers to use the GlobeOne app or the Globe at Home app to track their data usage, subscribe to offers, or pay bills.
