Redmi by Xiaomi's Vice President and Global Managing Director Manu Jain revealed the new 'Pro Max' series of smartphones. This new series stands for PRO camera and MAX Performance.

The first of this new series of smartphones is the new Redmi Note 9 Pro Max with the new Aura Balanced Design that brings impeccable craftsmanship, immersive experience and functional design.
In front is a large 20:9 6.44-inch display with triple Corning Gorilla Glass 5 with a punch hole that houses the 32MP In-display front-facing camera.
At the back is the AI quad-camera that is made up of a 64MP f/1.89 main camera, an 8MP 119-degrees Ultra-wide-angle camera, a 5MP (2cm to 10cm) macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor that Redmi claims to be a flagship camera experience.
Inside the device is the new 8nm Snapdragon 720G processor, Adreno 618 GPU, 6GB/8GB LPDDR4X RAM, up to 128GB UFS 2.1 storage and 5020mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. (33W charger included in the box) The battery is rated 11 hours of PUBG Mobile Playback or 26 hours of Video Playback.

Other features include a side-mounted Fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm headphone jack, 2x2 MIMO WiFi, NavIC (India's navigation system), GPS, GLO and an IR Blaster. It is protected by P2i dust and water resistance.
It will come in Aurora Blue, Glacier White and Interstellar Black colourways.
