Huawei Mobile Philippines has just announced the price and availability details of the Mate XS, the company's newest foldable flagship 5G device.
It also has a new chip, the 2.86GHz 7nm+ EUV Kirin 990 5G octa-core processor w/ Triple NPU (2x Big-Core + Tiny-Core), Mali-G76 MP16 w/ GPU Turbo (New-Gen), and a built-in Balong 5000 5G modem with multi-mode design (4G/3G/2G support), dual SIM 5G support, and SA/NSA.
Huawei also added the new Flying Fish Fin cooling system designed for foldable form factors to keep the performance in check.
This handset still has the same 8-inch OLED screen when unfolded and a 6.6-inch screen when folded with a 6.39-inch secondary screen at the back that you can use for selfies.

The Huawei Mate Xs has a lot of similarities compared to the Mate X last year, but it has an improved Falcon Wing Design (hinge). It is now made out of a zirconium-based liquid metal that is said to be tougher than steel, more resistant to shock, and made out of 100 components inside improve and strengthen its folding mechanism. |
