Nokia 9.2 or 9.3 is expected to feature a 108MP camera

Back in 2018, HMD Global launched the Nokia 9, the handset with a 12MP penta camera configuration. It's a promising camera phone during its time, but the Snapdragon 845-powered handset was plagued by its super-slow photo saving speed.

108MP on a Nokia phone?

64MP main + 108MP wide + 3 more cameras?

This year, there are rumors that the company might finally launch its upgrade and it could be worth all the wait.

The handset is said to be packed with a 64MP primary camera with OIS paired with a 108MP wide-angle camera (probably a Samsung sensor). The other cameras will be for telephoto, macro, and depth.

This simply means that it'll come with an upgraded penta camera configuration.

Also, chipsets nowadays support more cameras better than ever. So, it might not have the super-slow photo saving speed of the Nokia 9 2018 anymore.

Likely, the cameras of the phone will be co-engineered with ZEISS. But, the report claimed that it won't be using Light technology anymore.

The handset is expected to be dubbed as the Nokia 9.2 or Nokia 9.3. It is rumored to feature the 7nm Snapdragon 865 chip, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, 4,500mAh battery, and Android 10 OS out of the box.

It might be launched in late 2020 with a USD 799 (around PHP 40K) starting price and that's considered as affordable for a flagship device.

But, take note that this report is unverified yet. Let's take it with a grain of salt until Nokia's official announcement.
