The OnePlus 8 Pro is the company’s most expensive phone ever. It starts at $899, which is $200 more than a OnePlus 7 Pro or the 7T Pro that launched in markets outside the US. Even the McLaren Edition 5G 7T Pro only costs $799. Given the price increase, you’d hope enough has changed to make it worth shelling out the extra money. Thankfully, there are a few noteworthy upgrades that do seem to justify a higher price, although there are also some attributes less deserving of praise.
