Build/Design - Vivo S6 5G uses a 3D curved back design with Swan Lake, Danube, and Jazz Black colorways. It also has a tall screen with a small dewdrop notch. There is no mention of Gorilla Glass protection though.
For Samsung Galaxy A71 5G, it has a tall punch-hole screen. It also has a glasstic body that comes in Prism Cube Black, Prism Cube Silver, and Prism Cube Blue colors. No mention of any Gorilla Glass protection as well.

Samsung Galaxy A71 5G has a taller Super AMOLED Plus screen but both sport the same FHD+ resolution. The Vivo S6 5G has a dewdrop notch while the Galaxy A71 5G has a punch hole cutout. Both have a 60Hz refresh rate but the S6 5G has HDR10 support.

Our thoughts
Based on specs, both are highly capable mid-range 5G devices. They basically have the same CPU and GPU. Vivo S6 5G has a more up-to-date RAM and storage solution though.The Samsung Galaxy A71 5G has a bigger 64MP main sensor in its quad-camera system, a taller punch-hole screen, and a faster charging tech.
