In South Korea, LG launched its latest mid-range smartphone, the Q61.

The handset comes with a white-colored 3D curved back with a horizontally-aligned quad-camera setup and fingerprint scanner below the cameras. The body of this phone is also MIL-STD-810G compliant, so expect it to be tougher than your average mid-range smartphone.

In the front, it uses a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with 19:5:9 screen aspect ratio and a punch-hole to house the 16MP selfie camera.

Under the hood, it packs an unspecified type of 2.3GHz octa-core processor paired with 4GB RAM, 64GB storage with microSD expansion, and 4,000mAh battery capacity.

For cameras, it uses a 48MP + 8MP ultra-wide + 5MP depth + 2MP macro quad-camera configuration.

This phone also has a stereo setup and DTS-X 3D surround sound, 3.5mm headphone jack, dual-band WiFi, 4G LTE, NFC, and GPS.

The device is priced at KRW 369,600 or around PHP 15.1K out of direct conversion. It will go on sale starting May 29.

There's no word yet if it will go official outside of South Korea.
