MySmartPrice has obtained high-resolution renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G smartphone showing its full design from all angles from a trusted source.
Mystic Black |
Foldable design with Cover display
The renders showed that it'll come in two colorways—Mystic Black and Mystic Bronze.
As expected, the device will come with plenty of design upgrades versus the first Galaxy Fold. The Galaxy Z Fold 5G features a similar vertically-aligned triple-camera hump with LED flash found on the Galaxy Note20 leak.
The new fold will also have an extra cover display with a punch-hole in front.
When unfolded |
There is a new book-like folding mechanism too that should be better and more durable than the previous iteration. It just looks a little thicker than the previous fold.
When unfolded, it'll show a larger display for the tablet mode with no notch, slimmer bezels, and a punch-hole inside.
In terms of specs, rumors say that the handset will come with a 6.23-inch Super AMOLED Cover display, 7.7-inch Super AMOLED primary foldable display with 120Hz refresh rate, 5G-ready SoC, up to 512GB storage, 4,356mAh battery with 15W wireless charging and reverse wireless charging support, 64MP + 12MP + 12MP triple-cam, and a 10MP selfie cam on the inner foldable screen.
The device is said to cost at USD 1,980 (around PHP 97K). Let's see if this leak is accurate on Samsung's August 5 event.
