- Images of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G have appeared online.
- The pictures were posted by China’s TENAA regulatory body.
- It shows a foldable that looks mostly similar to the Galaxy Z Flip 4G.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip might be the most polished foldable phone we’ve seen yet, and the company is building on this release with the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 5G.
We’ve already seen reported specs, and now China’s TENAA website has revealed pictures of the foldable phone as well. The images show a phone that looks largely identical to the 4G Galaxy Z Flip, save for one major detail.
The Galaxy Z Flip 5G offers a matte-like finish on the outside of the phone. This differs from the shiny finish we saw on the older foldable, which was prone to fingerprint smudges. Otherwise, we can also make out a SIM tray and volume keys on the phone, in the same position as the 4G Flip.
The TENAA listing also reveals a few more Galaxy Z Flip 5G specs, in line with leaks last month. That means you can expect what appears to be an overclocked Snapdragon 865 processor (3.09Ghz), 8GB of RAM, 256GB of fixed storage, and a 2,500mah+704mAh dual battery pack.
Other specs outed by the filing include a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED screen, a 1.05-inch external screen (300 x 112), a 12MP main camera, and Android 10 support. Unfortunately, those hoping for a return to the 3.5mm port will be disappointed.
