Spotify Premium now includes the Group Session feature. This feature allows you to stream the same music or podcast with your friends/family.

Let's listen together with Spotify Group Session
The feature is still in its beta phase. For now, any Spotify Premium subscriber can create a shareable link with up to five friends who also have Premium. Using the link, they can then listen to the same content at the same time.
During the Group Session, any user can play/pause, skip, or select tracks in the queue. Users can also add tracks as well. As of now, there's no chat feature available yet so you still have to use another app for that.
Here are the steps to use Group Session:
1. In the Play screen, tap the Connect Menu in the bottom left-hand corner.
2. Scroll down and tap "Start a group session".
3. You will then receive a shareable link that you can send via social media or message to your friends.
The feature is still in beta so some users may not get the feature yet. Spotify says that they aim to improve the feature over time.
Group Sessions was first launched in May as a feature for hosting listening parties in-person. Spotify has been building up its features for the premium users to encourage more to subscribe. Some of these features included a free Hulu subscription and a free Google Home speaker.
