At the launch of its 5G mobile services, Smart Communications, Inc. revealed that global mobile phone maker vivo will soon launch a 5G-ready smartphone in the Philippines.

A vivo 5G-ready smartphone is coming!
This means that after Huawei, Samsung, OnePlus, and Xiaomi, vivo is the next big smartphone player to bring a 5G ready handset in the country.
Based on our research, the handset that vivo will bring as a part of Smart's 5G-certified phones on its Smart Signature and Infinity plans is the vivo X50 Pro.
To recall, the vivo X50 Pro is a mid-range 5G-ready smartphone boasting a 3D curved back design, 6.56-inch FHD+ curved AMOLED screen, 90Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ support. The handset is powered by the 7nm Snapdragon 765G processor with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, up to 256GB UFS 2.1 storage, and 4,315mAh battery capacity with USB-C 33W fast charging.
The main highlight of the handset is its gimbal-style stabilization for videos. It uses a 48MP f/1.6 Sony IMX598 sensor with gimbal OIS + 13MP f.2.46 portrait sensor + 8MP f/3.4 periscope sensor + 8MP f/2.2 120-degree ultra-wide-angle sensor with 2.5cm macro.
The handset also features a 32MP f/2.45 selfie sensor, WiFi 6, 5G, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, In-Display fingerprint Scanner, and AK4377A HiFi sound.

Apart from the X50 Pro, the poster also showed the Huawei P40 Pro, Huawei nova 7 5G, an unknown realme phone, and a silhouette of the upcoming Galaxy Note20.
