In Indonesia, Infinix released one of its most capable mid-range smartphones yet—the Zero 8.

Affordable camera beast?
The Infinix Zero is a uniquely designed handset sporting a 3D curved glass-like back in Black or White colors with prism-looking patterns. What made it unique is its use of an oversized diamond camera island.
In that area, you'll find a capable quad-camera setup with an LED flash. It includes a 64MP Sony IMX696 main cam + 8MP ultra-wide cam + Bokeh cam + Ultra Night Videos cam.
In the front, the Infinix continued the company's tradition of using massive screens. This time, it sports a 6.85-inch large screen with FHD+ resolution, 90Hz smooth refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and a dual punch-hole for the selfie camera. It can record up to 4K videos and 960fps slow-motion videos.
In the punch-hole area, the handset uses a 48MP main shooter + 8MP ultra-wide dual-cam. Similar to the back modules, it can shoot up to 4K videos.
Under the hood, it has pretty powerful mid-range specs. It uses the gaming-ready 2.05GHz 12nm MediaTek Helio G90T octa-core processor paired with Mali-G76 3EEMC4 GPU. This is the same SoC solution found on the speedy realme 6.
It also has 8GB RAM, 128GB expandable storage via microSD, and a 4,500mAh battery with USB-C 33W fast charging.
The device also sports a power key that doubles as a fingerprint reader, face unlock tech, dual-band WiFi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, OTG, FM Radio, GPS, GLONASS, and dual SIM slots.
The phone runs with Android 10 OS with XOS 7 skin.
Indonesia price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):
Infinix Zero 8 - IDR 3,799,000 (around PHP 12.6K)
The marketing material of Infinix showed that there is a phone called Infinix Zero 8i too, but we do not have details about it yet.
Stay tuned for more info.
