A TENAA certification listing has just revealed that global tech giant Huawei is working on a new version of the nova 7 SE.

The device could be named Huawei nova 7 SE Life or Vitality Edition and it sports an identical design and specs coming from the regular nova 7 SE 5G.
TENAA listed that the phone will sport a 2.4GHz octa-core processor which is similar to the 7nm 2.4GHz Kirin 820 SoC on the nova 7 SE. But according to rumors, it might be the new MediaTek Dimensity 800, a chip with similar 2x Cortex-A76 and 6x Cortex-A55 cores. However, the graphics are down to Mali-G57 MC3 instead of MP6.
The reason for the possible switch to MediaTek is the trade war between China and US which prevent TSMC and other foundries from supplying chips to Huawei.
The rest of the specs are the same. The phone still goes with a 6.5-inch FHD+ panel, 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, 3,900mAh (4,000mAh) battery with 40W fast charging, 64MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP quad-cam, and 16MP selfie cam.
The other difference? The handset is sporting a new paint job.
Since TENAA already listed the phone, we expect Huawei to launch this handset pretty soon.
