Improved battery, comfort, and sound quality
First, Marshall increased the battery life of the Major IV to 80+ hours coming from the 60 hours of Major III. Second, Marshall added a fast charging solution via USB-C. The company claimed that 15 minutes of charge equal to 15 hours of total usage.
Aside from that, Marshall included wireless charging support through a wireless charging coil placed inside the right ear cup. All you will need is to purchase your own Qi-ready wireless charging pad.
Apart from the battery and charging experience, Major IV also has softer ear cushions for better comfort and an improved custom-tuned dynamic driver which promises deeper bass, smoother mids, and crisper treble for a better overall sound experience.
It also has a multi-directional control knob which allows users to pause, skip, and adjust the volume. Lastly, there's a 3.5mm audio port that will allow users to plug and play when they're in low power or share music with a friend using a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable.
