realme C12 back

Build/Design - For the realme C12, it has a back made out of a hard polycarbonate back panel with multiple tiny diagonal protruding lines that add texture and friction to the panel This gives it its unique look and added grip that prevents hand slippage and fingerprint smudges. 

It features a centered dewdrop notch for the selfie sensor. It also has an unspecified Gorilla Glass protection as well.

realme C3 back

For realme C3, it has a unibody polycarbonate body with a textured back and a smooth finish for the frame. It has a Gorilla Glass 3 protection for the screen. It also has a small dewdrop notch.

The device has a pretty design choice for the back panel with sun-like rays when reflected. It has splash resistance as well.

This category is pretty tight. Both devices offer good looking designs with respectable builds. But, we are gonna ink in a win for the realme C3, thanks to its use of Gorilla Glass 3 protection,  and a more interesting design.

realme C3 has a 6.5-inch 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass 3 protected IPS (LTPS) screen with HD+ 1600 x 720 resolution at 269 ppi. Gorilla Glass 3+ protection is present. It also has a dewdrop notch.

Both phones sport HD+ IPS screens. We can chalk it up as a near tie sinch both basically have the same screen.

Specs - The realme C12 has a 2.3GHz 12nm Helio G35 octa-core processor, PowerVR GE8320, 3GB RAM, 32GB eMMC 5.1 expandable storage, and a 6,000mAh battery with 10W charger.

Realme C3 has a 2.0GHz 64-bit Helio G70 octa-core processor with a Mali-G52 MC2 GPU for gaming, up to 4GB RAM, up to 64GB expandable storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charger.

The realme C3 takes the lead with a more powerful CPU and GPU. The Helio G70 is one of the best CPU at this price point for gaming and multitasking.

If you need a bigger battery though, go for the realme C12 with its 6,000mAh battery.

realme C12 cameras

Cameras - realme C12 has a triple-camera setup with 13MP f/2.2 + 2MP f/2.4 macro + 2MP f/2.4 mono + LED flash. It also has a 5MP selfie shooter.

realme C3 cameras

For realme C3, it has a triple camera setup at the back with 12MP f/1.8 + 2MP f/2.4 4cm macro + 2MP f/2.4 depth + LED flash. For selfies. it has a 5MP f/2.2.

In terms of main cameras, realme C12 might win due to the slightly better 13MP main sensor.

Based on specs, both are very competitive phones.

Go for the realme C3 if you need a phone with faster speeds for gaming.

But, go for the realme C12 if you want a handset with a bigger battery and a 13MP main camera sensor for selfies.
