Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 pre-orders soldout in the PH in less than week!

Samsung Philippines has confirmed that the new Galaxy Z Fold2 has sold out from Samsung Authorized retail and online channels.

“We are grateful for the support of our customers. They will be among the exclusive few who will bear witness to how we are changing the shape of the future through the Galaxy Z Fold2’s groundbreaking features,” says Jerry Mañus, Business Unit Head of IT and Mobile, Samsung Philippines.

Interested customers can still pre-order thru telco partners such as Globe and Smart until September 24, 2020. Samsung will also open more pre-order slots through the company's official pre-order portal for retail stores at this link.

To recap, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 features an innovative folding design with an 60Hz outer cover display and inner main 120Hz display. Inside is a 7nm Snapdragon 865+ octa-core processor, Adreno 650 GPU, 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, 256GB UFS 3.1 and a large 4500mAh battery.

It has a rear camera set-up made up of a 12MP f/1.8 main camera, 12MP f/2.2 123-degree ultra-wide-angle camera, 12MP f/2.4 2x telephoto camera with LED flash while on top of the cover screen and the inner main screen each have a punch hole that houses a 10MP f/2.2 selfie camera.

It will be running Android 10 with One UI 2.5 out of the box and it retails for PHP 109,990. Customers who pre-orders have a hoice between a Samsung Galaxy Watch3 or a 2020 55-inch Crystal UHD Smart TV, a PHP 2,000 e-voucher, and 12 months Samsung Care+ (worth PHP 14,199).
