It's no secret that Huawei will soon unveil its newest flagship chip to power the Mate40 series. It will be called the Kirin 9000.
The chip inside the Mate40 phones!
The Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 9000 is expected to be the first 5nm-based chipset for Android devices and the world's first SoC solution with built-in 5G. To recall, Apple's A14 Bionic is the first chip based on the 5nm manufacturing process, but it'll need a separate modem to make 5G work.
Huawei's next flagship chip, Kirin9000, AnTutu also appeared. The overall score is the same as Exynos1080.

Anyway, a recent listing from AnTuTu showed a device with model number NOH-NX9 got a monstrous score of 693,605. It's a score that's much higher than the Snapdragon 865+ with a max benchmark score of around 640K.
The score of 693,605 is neck and neck with Exynos 1080's score of 693,600.
AnTuTu showed that this is due to its use of 4x Cortex-A77 and 4x Cortex-A55 cores with a clock speed of 3.13GHz and the Mali-G78 GPU.

Reliable leaker Ice universe earlier Tweeted a Geekbench screenshot showing that the Mali-G78 that Huawei used is the one with the highest specs. It is the Mali-G78 MP24. This means that its GPU has 24 cores in total.
But, it isn't using the highest clocked GPU for better overall efficiency.
We'll see with the upcoming Mate series how will this new GPU perform.
