Possible live image of Huawei Mate40 Pro and iPhone 12 leaks

A few days before Apple's October 13 and Huawei's October 22 events, a live photograph of the possible iPhone 12 and Mate40 Pro were pictured side by side.
Alleged Huawei Mate40 Pro and iPhone 12

These two are expected to be the first two smartphones in the world with a 5nm chip

The image only showed the front panels of the phones, but they look different from the current Apple iPhone 11 and Huawei P40 Pro suggesting that these are unreleased devices yet.

iPhone 12 still sports a wide notch to house its sensors and the earspeaker, but its bezels are slimmer than the iPhone 11. The display is likely updated to OLED as well.

Meanwhile, the Mate40 Pro has similarities to the curves and pill-shaped punch-hole of the P40 Pro, but the display appears to be larger with even narrower bezels. The pill-shaped punch-hole is also noticeably longer, so Huawei might have added some sensors in there along with the front camera and the AF + IR Depth/Gesture Camera.

Likely, the one who posted the leak is already comparing the two phones as they are said to be the first two smartphones in the world with a next-generation 5nm chipset.

Apple earlier unveiled the 5nm Apple A14 Bionic chip without 5G. But, Apple is expected to launch an iPhone with 5G during the event.

On the other hand, Huawei is expected to introduce the 5nm Kirin 9000 chipset with a better overall performance versus the Kirin 990 and Kirin 990 5G.

These are all speculations for now though. Let's wait for the official launches of Apple and Huawei this month.

One thing is for sure, we will keep you guys posted!
