Editor’s note: We will update this list of the best cheap Chromebook deals as more are launched. Don’t see anything you like on sale? Be sure to also check out our guide to the best Chromebooks to get.
1. Newest Flagship HP Chromebook
We’re starting our Chromebook deals list with a cheap and cheery option, but the newest flagship Chromebook from HP is perfectly effective for most tasks. The Intel Celeron processor N3350 isn’t one for heavy-duty gaming, but as a work machine or streaming device, it’s more than capable. With a screen size of just 11.6 inches, it’s also one of the most portable Chromebooks you’ll find, so it’s perfect for travel or commuting when you always want a Chrome OS system on hand. It features 4GB of RAM and 32GB eMMC flash memory storage.
2. 2019 Asus touchscreen Chromebook
This ultraportable and lightweight 15.6-inch Chromebook is powered by up to a quad-core Intel Pentium N4200 processor and gives you the freedom of up to 10 hours of battery life. It’s also the first ASUS Chromebook to feature a NanoEdge design, which gives you a big screen in a compact chassis for easier multitasking and more immersive entertainment.
The Full HD touchscreen offers a 1,920 x 1,080 display and is supported by 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. The 180-degree hinge allows you to lay the Chromebook screen flat and has been subjected to a grueling 20,000-cycle open-and-close test to ensure long-term reliability.
3. Samsung Chromebook 4
The Samsung Chromebook 4 features on our best Chromebooks list as the best Chromebook for Students (or value buyers). This model is powered by an Intel Celeron N4000 processor and 4GB of RAM, plus 32GB of storage for your offline files.
As with many of the options on the cheap Chromebook list, the Samsung Chromebook 4 is well-suited for being on the go. The screen is just 11.6-inches and it weighs only 2.6lbs. Up to 12.5 hours of battery life means that you’re unlikely to need your charger if you’re just out for class or to the working day.
4. Acer Chromebook 715
Our Acer pick of the Chromebook deals is the Acer Chromebook 715. It offers a Full HD display, eighth-gen Intel Core i3 processor, and 4GB DDR4 RAM. Similarly to the Samsung above, 12 hours of battery life mean that you’re unlikely to be caught short of a power socket, but it arguably has a much sleeker and elegant design than the Samsung. It also offers that underrated feature that many Chromebooks lack: a dedicated numerical keypad.
5. Dell Chromebook 11 3100 2-in-1
Sticking with the theme of Dell 2-in-1, the 3100 is a light and speedy clamshell Chromebook that comes in a black finish and can stand up to the rough-and-tumble student lifestyle. A dual-core Intel Celeron processor and 4GB of RAM helps to keep the 11.6-inch HD touchscreen running smoothly. If working from home and remote learning continues, the webcam and long battery life should be more than ready for a lifetime of Zoom usage.

Designed with students in mind, the Dell 3100 has a water-resistant keyboard that should have no problem when things get messy.
6. HP Chromebook 14
Another cheap Chromebook with touchscreen — albeit one without 2-in-1 capabilities — is the HP Chromebook 14. As the name suggests, it’s equipped with a 14-inch HD touchscreen and an AMD Radeon R4 Graphics chipset brings the display to life. Sticking with AMD, an A4 Series processor helps to keep the lights on with just over nine hours of battery life.

You should have no problem working long hours with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage and four total USB-A and USB-C ports are ready to handle your daily needs.
7. Lenovo Chromebook C340
We’ve got a couple of Lenovo options on our Chromebook deals list. The C340 is a multi-touch 2-in-1 laptop with a 360-degree hinge. It boasts an Intel Celeron Dual-Core CPU and 4GB of RAM for capable processing. Integrated eMMC storage provides 32GB of space for documents or other files. Up to 10 hours of battery life on the 11.6-inch LED display should keep you going all day long.

8. HP Pro c640 Chromebook
A slicker HP option comes in the form of the Pro c640 Chromebook. It’s an option designed for the business professional with a bright 14-inch HD display and up to an Intel Core i7 processor. If you splurge for the high-end setup, you’ll be handsomely rewarded with 16GB of RAM and 128GB of storage — both of which are plenty for a Chromebook. Tying it all together, the Pro c640 is loaded with a 720p HD webcam and Intel UHD graphics.
9. Lenovo Yoga C630 2-in-1
The Lenovo Yoga Chromebook has a 360-degree folding screen that lets you use it in laptop, tent, presentation, or tablet configurations. Its 8GB of RAM and Intel i5 processor supply the horsepower for your apps and media, and the 128GB eMMC flash memory offers fast access to files. As you’re always seeking in an ideal Chromebook, it has a 15.6-inch Full HD 10-point multitouch screen, while at the same time featuring a slim and light design.
10. Samsung Galaxy Chromebook
Samsung is well-known for the incredible AMOLED displays that it features on TVs and phones; now you can try one of those famous displays on a sleek and luxurious Galaxy Chromebook. There’s more to the Galaxy Chromebook than just a pretty face though — it’s equipped with 8GB of memory, a 256GB SSD, and a 10th-gen Intel Core i5 processor.
The aforementioned AMOLED display is a 13.3-inch 4K touchscreen that works seamlessly with the built-in pen. Rounding out the spec sheet, the Galaxy Chromebook is just 0.39-inches thick and weighs in at just over two pounds. Intel UHD graphics keep the touchscreen looking sharp, and a fingerprint reader offers a bit of extra security. It’s not a cheap Chromebook, but you can make a modest saving from Amazon via the widget below. However, if you have a device to trade in, you can get it for as low as $549 from Samsung.
