On its Mi Store Catalog Nov-Dec issue, Xiaomi revealed that the Mi Transparent TV will be available in the Philippines soon.
The first transparent TV in the world!
To recall, the Mi Transparent TV was first announced back in August during its 10th-year anniversary celebration. It is the world's very first mass-produced transparent TV.
The Mi Transparent TV boasts a mostly see-through 55-inch transparent OLED (TOLED) panel that makes images appear like they float. Xiaomi said that this edge-to-edge transparent and self-luminous display eliminates the traditional back panel. It is also designed with extremely tiny pixels to make images look clear.
In particular, it comes with 4K resolution, 150000:1 contrast ratio, 10-bit color, and 93 percent DCI-P3. The TV also has a 120Hz refresh rate, MEMC 120Hz motion interpolation, and 1ms response time as well.
The TV boasts a custom MediaTek 9650 flagship TV chipset with a quad-core Cortex-A73 design and Mali-G52 GPU. It is paired with 3GB and 32GB storage as well. It also has AI Master Smart Engine with over 20 optimization algorithms and 5 major use case dedicated optimization as well as AI Master for audio which automatically detects the type of content being played as well as Dolby Atmos virtual surround sound.
Impressively, the TV has a slim 5.7 mm frame. It also uses a round base boasting a millimeter-grade finish to look like a CD. Inside this round base are all its processing units, internals, and I/O ports.
Speaking of ports, It has an Antenna In, Optical Digital, 3x HDMI, Ethernet, AV Input, and 2x USB ports.
