Build/Design - Realme X50 Pro 5G has a 3D AG glass back design. It also has Gorilla Glass 5 protection for the screen.

Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra has a glass and metal build. It the front and rear glass panel curves to the side with metal accents and trims. It also has Gorilla Glass 6 protection for the screen.
This category is pretty close. Both devices offer good looking designs with respectable builds. The Galaxy S20 Ultra takes a bit of a lead due to its Gorilla Glass 6 protection.
Display - The realme X50 Pro 5G has a 6.44-inch 20:9 6.44-inch AMOLED screen, 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz sampling rate, FHD+ resolution with HDR10+, 100 percent DCI-P3, and 105 percent NTSC color gamut.

Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra has a bigger 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x 120Hz screen w/ QHD+ 3040 x 1440 resolution at 511 ppi pixel density. It has HDR10+ support with a 20:9 cinematic aspect ratio.
Samsung takes this one with a QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED screen with 120Hz of refresh rate. However, realme X50 Pro 5G still offers a very high-end FHD+ AMOLED experience which is really impressive.
Specs - The realme X50 Pro 5G runs a 2.84GHz Snapdragon 865 octa-core processor with an Adreno 650 GPU, up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, up to 256GB UFS 3.0 storage, and a 4,200mAh battery with 65W SuperDart fast charging.
Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra has a 2.7GHz Exynos 990 octa-core processor with a Mali-G77 MP11 GPU, up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM, up to 512GB expandable storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging, wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging.
Both devices offer top of the line performance specs. Snapdragon 865 is faster on paper.
Galaxy S20 Ultra just has the bigger RAM, internal storage, and battery capacity. The charging speed of the X50 Pro 5G is better at 65W, but Samsung has wireless charging and the reverse wireless charging tech.
Cameras
Realme X50 Pro 5G has a quad-camera setup with 64MP f/1.8 Samsung GW1 with UIS + 8MP f/2.3 with 119-degree ultra-wide-angle with 3cm macro + 12MP f/2.5 with 5x optical hybrid zoom + 2MP f/2.4 mono + dual-tone LED flash. For selfies, it has a 32MP f/2.5 Sony IMX616 + 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle.
For Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, it has a quad-camera setup at the back with 108MP f/1.8 with Dual Pixel and OIS + 12MP f/2.2 120-degree ultra-wide-angle + 48MP f/3.5 with 10x Hybrid Optic Zoom and OIS + ToF + dual-tone LED flash. For selfies. it has a 40MP f/2.2 sensor.
In terms of features, the realme X50 Pro 5G has a dedicated mono sensor. However, in terms of sheer sensor size, the Galaxy S20 Ultra wins with a 108MP main sensor and a 48MP Hybrid Optic Zoom sensor.
For selfies, the realme X50 Pro 5G has a bit of a lid with the inclusion of an ultra-wide-angle sensor.

Our thoughts
On paper, the Galaxy S20 Ultra ahead as it is still loaded with more features. But for half the price, the realme X50 Pro 5G can compete. It even has arguably faster overall performance.
Realme X50 Pro 5G is not yet official here. It has a starting price of INR 37,999 (around PHP 27K without taxes and duties yet). Meanwhile, the Galaxy S20 Ultra has an official SRP of PHP 69,990 for the 12GB/128GB storage version.
